Heath Ledger's Last Movie

Heath Ledger died during the making of this movie, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, directed by Terry Gilliam. Terry Gilliam did not want to recast Heath Ledger's character and wanted to keep the scene's Ledger had done in the film. To do that he had to rewrite the script to allow the character to change appearances and the following actors stepped in to help Gilliam finish his movie, Johnny Depp, Collin Ferrel, and Jude Law. This movie looks visually stunning as all of Gilliam's movies have been and I can't wait to see it. Here is the Trailer...

Freddy's baaaaack!!

New Line Cinema is rebooting their 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' series. When I first head this I though, 'eh whatever' and quickly forgot about it. My interest in the reboot was sparked by the news that Jackie Earle Haley, the actor who played Rorschach in 'Watchmen', was chosen to take over the role of Freddy Krueger, previously embodied by Robert Englund. This news excited me because I loved Haley in Watchmen and he looks like he will have an interesting part in 'Shutter Island'. The last straw came this week, I have no choice now I have to see this movie, The teaser trailer was released and it looks freaking awesome. Here it is for those of you that would like to get sucked into another reboot like I just did. Enjoy.

Matty Update

Last time I wrote here I had gotten back together with my Girlfriend Dolly. Well, me writing here again should give you a clue....yeah, we broke up again. But this time it is for good. I still want to be friends with her, but I don't think she will be able to do that and date other guys at the same time. I don't want to miss out on a great friendship.

So, things are shaky for me at the moment. I am back at my parents house so that I can save money to start over. I was able to get a car, a cheap '91 Toyota Cellica ST. POS but runs and that is all I need right now. Once my bills are caught up I will be moving to Capitol Hill, Denver because it is close to my school (I am going to CU Denver for Electrical Engineering) and my brother lives there. It will be nice to see him on a daily basis again.

I wanted to try some changes in my life...I changed my scent, I bought Georgio Armani's new cologne for men, Diamonds, and I love it. I put out feelers to all my female friends to give me suggestions of what to get and it helped me out a lot in narrowing down the brands I wanted to look at. Thanks ladies!!

Well, that's it for now. I did start a Twitter account and if you wish to follow me you can look me up as 'MattyBare'
